Dr. Maria Cosentino is a University of Toronto alumni, having completed her undergraduate and masters degrees in science and biochemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and graduated with honours in 1999. Dr. Cosentino has published many scientific journal articles and completed scientific research at Hospital For Sick Children and Toronto Western Hospital.

Dr. Cosentino practiced dentistry in Orangeville from 1999 to 2005. While practicing in Orangeville, she was a member of the Highlands Rotary Club. Since 2005, Dr. Cosentino has been practicing in her current location in Etobicoke.

Dr. Cosentino is a member of many dental associations and her accomplishments include being a Councillor of the Ontario Dental Association and President of the West Toronto Dental Society. In addition, she has been awarded the Governance Leadership Award from the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Cosentino pursues continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest dental advances in order to serve her patients better.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cosentino stays busy while spending time with her husband and two children.
